FAQs

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! Our office is currently welcoming new patients from all over the Saddleback Valley and beyond.

Do the dentists see children as well as adults?

Yes! Our practice sees many children – some for their very first visit; for both regular and orthodontic visits; and of course we are always here for those dreaded “unexpected” visits.
We have a special children’s waiting area just for our smallest patients, and our famous “treasure box” to encourage good dental habits!

Do you take emergency calls?

Yes! Our doctors are available to speak to you or to treat all dental emergencies after hours.

Do you accept dental insurance?

Yes! We accept all traditional Indemnity (reimbursement) and most major PPO (discounted fee) insurance including, but not limited to:

    • Aetna
    • Blue Cross/Anthem
    • Cigna
    • Delta Dental
    • Metlife
    • Goldenwest

And many others – please call our office or your insurance company to verify that we are a provider for your plan.
We are NOT a provider for any HMO (pre-paid) dental plans.

    Will you bill my insurance?

Yes, we will bill insurance as a courtesy to our patients who require it. However, any co-payments or patient share amounts determined are expected at the time of service.

    Do you allow payment plans?

Yes! We are happy to work with our patients as needed, however we simply ask that any agreements for payment plans be finished PRIOR to the start of treatment. We extend this service as a courtesy to our patients and their families.

How often should I see my dentist?

You should visit your dental professional at least every six months to have your teeth cleaned. If you have special periodontal (gum) issues or concerns, the doctors may recommend more frequent visits.

I haven’t see a dentist is a long time…I am embarrassed to come in… Do you see a lot of “Dental Chickens?”

Yes! We do! Congratulations on taking the first step to improving the situation by researching our office online! The next step is to call our office and speak to Natali or Ana, our friendly front office staff, to arrange your first “getting back on track” visit. It’s as easy as that. Before you know it you will be the proud owner of a much healthier smile! Our doctors and staff are patient and caring, but most importantly we treat every patient’s concerns like we would our own families…maybe even better!
Still not ready? We invite you to schedule a consult appointment to come in and get acquainted with our office. When your are ready to take the next step, we will be here.

    What is tooth decay?

Tooth decay is a process that results in a cavity (dental caries). It occurs when bacteria in your mouth make acids that eat away at a tooth. If not treated, tooth decay can cause pain, infection and in some cases, tooth loss.

    What causes tooth decay?

The combination of bacteria and food causes tooth decay. A clear, sticky substance called plaque that contains bacteria is always forming on your teeth and gums. As the bacteria feed on the sugars in the food you eat, they make acids. Over time, these acids can destroy tooth enamel, resulting in a cavity.

How can I reduce my chances of getting a cavity?

You can easily prevent tooth decay by brushing and flossing your teeth daily, avoiding foods high in sugar and seeing your dental professional at least twice a year for your teeth cleanings and regular check-ups.

    Can I schedule appointment ahead?

Yes! Our office will work with your schedule as best we can to support you in maintaining the highest level of good dental health. Many patients schedule their cleanings, orthodontic and other appointments up to six months ahead to keep on schedule.

Please call our office with any additional or specific questions and concerns. We look forward to speaking with you!
